To prove it, we just kicked off another OCHO LOCO weekend with 8-cent falafels and a falafel eating contest! The OCHO LOCO took place earlier this evening at Tasty Falafel on St. Marks. Our Falafel Eating Champion was Arnie Chapman, who swallowed the 8 balls in 78 seconds (the 8 was just coincidence). Matt Haines (who we’re really sorry the camera man didn’t capture) came in a close 2nd, literally by a hummus lick away. The very noble Arnie Chapman (who also just happens to be a competitive eater), gave up his prize to Matt, who will receive a special 8coupons mobile coupon for 8-cent falafels until December 7th, 2008!
